Pet sitting

Our aim is to provide an individual service with high standards of care for your pets. To maintain these standards of care for all our clients, we operate under the following terms and conditions:

Furry Godmothers ® will act as guardian during the Client’s absence and will take any action considered appropriate in order to protect & keep in good health the pet/s in our care.

Enough food for the whole period of care will be provided by the client. Additional food purchased by us will be payable by the client immediately on return.

All Clients will be responsible for any costs which might be incurred, either veterinary or other, as a result of any sickness, accident or damage caused to or by their pet/s, except Third Party Liability. Clients will be responsible for paying any such costs or expenses on demand. No liability will attach to Furry Godmothers ®

All clients will complete a detailed booking form including information on:

• Emergency contact details

• whether or not pets are vaccinated

• any insurance policy in place

• microchip details

• any medication required while the pet is in our care

• feeding routines

• medical history

• Veterinary details

We will occasionally be able to take bitches in season by prior arrangement. Should bitches come into season while in our care where arrangements have not been made, we reserve the right to move the pet to alternative, appropriate care. Any additional boarding fees will be payable by the client on return

We take great care to ensure dogs are placed with a compatible Carer, but where any dog in our care bites or otherwise causes injury through unprovoked aggression to our Carers, their family members or other members of the public, we reserve the right to move the pet to alternative, appropriate care. Any additional boarding fees will be payable by the client on return.

All pets should have up to date treatment in place for fleas, worms and other parasites prior to commencement of the booking. Any additional costs incurred by Furry Godmothers ® for pets requiring treatment for fleas, worms and other parasites while in our care will be payable by the client on return

All home boarding, home visit and house sitting bookings require a deposit to confirm the booking. This deposit is equal to 50% of the total fee for bookings confirmed more than one month before departure. For bookings made or confirmed less than one month from departure, the fee is required in full.

A surcharge of 4.5% will be added to payments made by credit or debit cards.

All regular services such as dog walking, dog day care, medication visits etc where the service is to be provided on an ongoing basis, are payable in full in advance.

The balance of any fees is payable directly to the Carer when the booking commences.

Deposits are non-refundable, except where the booking is cancelled by Furry Godmothers ®. Where a booking is cancelled within one month of the start date, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full amount outstanding will be charged. Should these dates subsequently be re-booked by another client, the cancellation fee will be waived.

Online shop

Our aim is to provide an efficient service to all customers purchasing items though the Furry Godmothers ® online shop. To maintain these standards, all purchases are made under the following terms and conditions of sale:

All goods remain the property of Furry Godmothers ® until payment is received in full

Purchase of items via this website confirms your acceptance of all our terms and conditions of sale

All prices quoted include secure packing and postage by first class recorded delivery to addresses within the United Kingdom


All payments are made via PayPal secure payments. To view PayPal terms & conditions, visit their website at www.paypal.co.uk

Orders will be despatched within 5 working days of payment.

Although we endeavour to keep all products in stock, on the occasion that we do not have your ordered item in stock, you will be contacted by email or telephone to be advised of the anticipated delivery date

Furry Godmothers ® will not disclose customer information to any third party under any circumstances

Any product purchased from Furry Godmothers ® found to be faulty or damaged in transit will be refunded in full or replaced. All returns of faulty or damaged goods must be made within 14 days of delivery of the product and must include details of the fault or damage

Where purchased items are damaged in transit, you should notify us in writing via email or by phone within 24 hours of delivery

In the event of a customer ordering an item in error and through no fault of Furry Godmothers ®, we will be pleased to replace or refund the item, provided that it is returned in an unused, saleable condition within 7 days. Postage costs will not be refunded. Food items are not returnable unless faulty or damaged (see above)

All returned items shall be sent at the customers own expense, except in the case of faulty or damaged goods. It is recommended that goods are returned by recorded delivery as Furry Godmothers ® will not take responsibility for returned items lost in transit

Should you fail to take delivery of ordered items and these are subsequently returned to Furry Godmothers ® by our carrier, you will be refunded for the cost of the item, less any expenses incurred for the failed delivery

All returns will be acknowledged by Furry Godmothers ® by email
