Terms & Conditions for Pet Sitting

The aim of Furry Godmothers is to provide an individual service with high standards of care for pets. To maintain these standards of care, Furry Godmothers operates under the following terms and conditions:

General

Should any pet become unwell whilst in the care of Furry Godmothers, Furry Godmothers shall notify the Client as soon as practicable and the pet shall be transported to the Client's nominated Veterinary practice for treatment. In the unlikely event of an emergency where the Client's Vet is either to far away or not available, Furry Godmothers shall take the pet to an alternative local Veterinary practice.

Clients shall confirm to the agreed arrival and departure times. The Client shall contact the Furry Godmothers Carer directly in the event of any delay.

Furry Godmothers will not disclose Client information to any third party under any circumstances

Furry Godmothers reserve the right to refuse any pet not deemed suitable for home care

Furry Godmothers shall act as guardian during the Client’s absence and will take any action considered reasonable and appropriate in order to protect and keep in good health the pet/s in our care

The Client shall provide enough food for the whole period of care. Should Furry Godmothers be required to purchase additional food, this shall be paid for by the Client on demand

The Client shall complete a detailed booking form and shall be required to provide:

• emergency contact details

• vaccinations and medical details, including medication required

• insurance and microchip details

• feeding routines

• details of any negative habits, including (but not exclusively) separation anxiety, fear aggression,chewing, incontinence, food or toy aggression or poor recall

• Veterinary contact details with a completed and signed Veterinary Authorisation form

Furry Godmothers shall not be held liable for any omissions in the information provided by the client

The Client shall advise Furry Godmothers if any other persons will be present in or visiting the Client’s home during home visits by Furry Godmothers

Bitches in season can be boarded only by prior arrangement. Should bitches come into season while in our care where prior arrangements have not been made, Furry Godmothers reserves the right to move the pet to alternative, appropriate care. Any additional boarding fees shall be payable by the Client

Should a dog in the care of Furry Godmothers bite or otherwise cause injury through unprovoked aggression to our Carers, their family members or other members of the public, Furry Godmothers reserves the right to move the pet to alternative, appropriate care. Any additional boarding fees shall be payable by the Client

All pets should have up to date treatment in place for fleas, worms and other parasites prior to commencement of the booking. Any additional costs incurred for pets requiring treatment for such parasites while in the care of Furry Godmothers shall be payable by the Client

Payment & charges

The Client shall not approach individual Furry Godmothers Carers with a view to securing care for the pet directly with the Carer and outside the remit of these Terms and Conditions. Where this occurs, the Client shall be required to pay Furry Godmothers for the lost revenue

All services are payable in full in advance of a booking commencing

All home boarding, home visit and house sitting bookings require a deposit to confirm the booking. For bookings confirmed more than one month before commencement, the deposit shall be a minimum of 50% of the total fee. For bookings made or confirmed less than one month from commencement, the fee shall be paid in full

The balance of any fees shall be payable directly to the Furry Godmothers Carer by the first day of the booking, unless otherwise advised

Where the Client’s return home is delayed for any reason, any additional fees will be charged at the standard rate and shall be payable by the Client within one week of the date of the invoice

Deposits are non-refundable, except where the booking is cancelled by Furry Godmothers. Where the Client cancels a booking within one month of the start date, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full cost of the care shall be payable. No fees shall be refundable where the Client returns and terminates a booking on an earlier date than that booked

No liability will attach to Furry Godmothers, and the Client shall be responsible for any costs which might be incurred, either veterinary or other, as a result of any sickness, accident or damage caused to or by their pet/s, except Third Party Liability. This shall include the cost of transporting the pet to the Veterinary surgery (charges for Vet transport are available on request).

Where a completed and signed Veterinary Authorisation form has not been provided by the Client, the Client shall be charged an additional £50 administration fee if Furry Godmothers is required to pay for Veterinary treatment

Additional fees incurred while the pet is in the care of Furry Godmothers shall be settled in full by the Client immediately on collection of the pet or on return of the Client’s keys. Where relevant, Furry Godmothers will provide the Client with proof of payment and/or an invoice for additional costs

A surcharge of 4.5% shall be added to payments made by credit or debit cards to cover the additional PayPal fees payable by Furry Godmothers

Terms & Conditions for Shop Purchases

All goods remain the property of Furry Godmothers until payment is received in full

Prices

While we try and ensure that all prices on our Web site are accurate, errors may occur.

If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it.

If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled.

Shipping

Orders will be despatched within 3 working days of payment unless otherwise advised.

Although we endeavour to keep all products in stock, on the occasion that we do not have your ordered item in stock, you will be contacted by email or telephone to be advised of the anticipated delivery date.

All orders are dispatched through Royal Mail in the United Kingdom. We cannot take responsibility for any postal service problems and our postal receipt is considered proof of delivery.

Returns

Any product purchased from Furry Godmothers found on delivery to be faulty or damaged in transit will be refunded in full or replaced. All returns of faulty or damaged goods must be made within 14 days of delivery of the product and must include details of the fault or damage.

Where purchased items are damaged in transit, you should notify us in writing via email or by phone within 24 hours of delivery.

In the case of a wrong size being ordered, the customer will be charged the standard postage and handling fee for sending the replacement product back.

In the event of a customer ordering an item in error and through no fault of Furry Godmothers, we will be pleased to replace or refund the item, provided that it is returned in an unused, saleable condition within 14 days. Postage costs will not be refunded.

All returned items shall be sent at the customers own expense, except in the case of faulty or damaged goods. It is recommended that goods are returned by recorded delivery as Furry Godmothers will not take responsibility for returned items lost in transit

We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 15% or the full charge if a returned item is not in a resaleable condition when it reaches us.

Should you fail to take delivery of ordered items and these are subsequently returned to Champion Canine Safety by our carrier, you will be refunded for the cost of the item, less any expenses incurred for the failed delivery.

All returns will be acknowledged.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Guarantee

Furry Godmothers offers a limited 10 year guarantee on the products it supplies. For 10 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace with the same or equivalent CHAMPION or SURVIVOR product if it breaks or ceases to function properly due to manufacturer’s defect or normal wear and usage. Due to the nature of the 3M Scotchlite reflective banding used on the Moonglow products, the 3M Scotchlite banding is excluded from the 10 year guarantee.

Privacy Policy

Furry Godmothers will not disclose buyer's information to any third party. We do not record or retain any credit card information.
